5 Ways to Celebrate your Friendships

Schedule some quality time.
Life can get crazy and hours in the week can seem short, but carving out some quality time for a good friend is always worth it. Get the kiddos busy with a craft and share a cup of coffee and, more importantly, some good conversation.
Write a letter to a faraway friend.
If we could have it our way, friends would always be nearby, but that isn’t always the case. Span the distance with a personal letter. It will mean more than a quick text or phone call and receiving something unexpected through snail mail will brighten their day.
Share your friendship story.
Have a great friend? Shout it from the rooftops… Or, tell us about it on Facebook. Every good friend deserves recognition. Tell us about your best pals and it’s guaranteed to make them feel loved. As a bonus, you could win a $100 gift card – just for sharing.
Get your friends together.
Have some friends that you love spending time with? Plan to get your best pals together. They might not know each other, but if they are all friends with you, chances are they will want to. Plan an informal game night at your house or grill up some dinner at your neighborhood park.
Meet a new friend.
Attend a Community Services event and you are guaranteed to see a few unknown faces, and chances ate the kids will too. Help them make new friends before the school year starts and gain a few new pals yourself. Adding to your support system is always a good idea.
