Jump on the Coronado Ferry and Shop the Landing

June 30, 2013

Looking for a fun and inexpensive way to experience San Diego this summer? Well, do yourself a favor and head to the San Diego Bay Ferry and hop aboard for an afternoon at the Coronado Ferry Landing. The Landing has over “25 eclectic and unique shops, including art galleries, bike rentals, sweet treats, fine and casual dining all while taking in the amazing view of the downtown San Diego skyline.”

Enough said, right? Ferry times vary, so check out the loading and destination times on the ferry website. Tickets are only $4.25 one-way and $8.50 for a round trip–I told you it was inexpensive. And don’t forget that there’s free live music Sunday afternoons year round, and Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer.

Heading out on a Tuesday? There’s a Certified Farmer’s Market open from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m., rain or shine. It’s safe to say the ferry is a legit and fun way to get around the Bay.
