Have a Bonfire on the Beach

May 20, 2013

Open beach fires outside containers are prohibited at all San Diego beaches, but as long as you can nail down a fire pit you’re golden. Aside from bicycling, rollerblading, swimming, surfing, and volleyball, you can take to the beach on a cool, breezy evening for a bonfire!

Break out the marshmallows and chocolate and indulge yourself in some yummy s’mores while snuggling up to a bonfire on the beach. Fires pits are available on Mission Beach with a general curfew of 10:00 p.m. With the sound of crashing waves as music and twinkling stars for a backdrop, this toasty evening is a great way to catch up with friends or the whole family.

We hope you take advantage of yet another awesome activity in San Diego!
