Go Fly A Kite…in the Field of Tecolote Shores

May 3, 2013

Admittedly, it’s been a while since I’ve flown a kite, but remembering back to younger years really makes me miss that life of leisure. Consider a trip to Mission Bay Park with your kids (or by yourself) and witness the joy kite flying brings to your day–as long as you can keep it in the sky!

Fly a kite along the grassy field in the Tecolote Shores of Mission Bay Park, a 4,600-acre aquatic park. One of the premier kite flying locations in San Diego, the grassy field is away from trees and overhead wires, so there is definitely plenty of room!

Get out one of these days during the next few months and really enjoy the beautiful weather that our region offers! Grab some friends and family and launch colorful kites into the bay breezes. It has to be true if Yahoo! Voices says so, right?
